Coach Risoleo began coaching at College Park in 2019 after spending six years as the head coach at Westside High School. Prior to that, Risoleo coached the Women’s Tennis Team at McNeese State University (NCAA D1) for seven years.
As a player at McNeese State University, Risoleo was a Four-Year Letter Winner and won 10 or more matches each season. In 2003, she had the team's best singles record at 18-3 and was team MVP. She earned a B.S. in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Health Promotion, and an M.S. with a concentration in Exercise Physiology at McNeese State University. She is United States Professional Tennis Association certified and has been an Elite Professional since 2008.
Coach Risoleo is a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Long before relocating to the United States, she was an elite junior player, consistently ranking in the Top 10 nationally in Argentina throughout most of her junior career. She competed extensively across South and Central America on the prestigious COSAT junior circuit, and also tested her skills at the professional level in ITF Futures tournaments.
A College Park alumnus, Connor Gaul played varsity tennis for the Cavaliers for four years and competed in USTA junior tennis throughout his youth. During his high school career, he won the district championship in boys doubles in 2014 with Mohamed Ben Ali and was the district runner-up in boys doubles in 2015 with Thomas Porter, advancing to the regional tournament.
Following high school, Coach Gaul also coached at FM Tennis Academy, located across from College Park, where he worked with younger players in the academy’s kids program.
He is grateful for the opportunity to return to College Park and The Woodlands as both a teacher and coach. He enjoys helping student-athletes develop their games, compete with confidence, and build the work ethic and character that will benefit them both on and off the court.
